Hah, time to prove to you guys that my blog Is still alive, TRUST me. It's been qt an eventful week no doubt, but i think i'll dedicate a large part of this entry to my newly-acquired concubine. =D
Friday was probably one of the slackiest days in my hwachong school life this yr. PE was a refreshing change, with Tan Dog conducting the lesson in the air-conditioned [sleep-inducing] comfort of LT4. We were treated to an enriching powerpoint presentation that revealed the marvels of the PE department. After the awe-inspiring lesson, i had a little chat with Dog, which ended with him excusing me from the afternoon's X-country run, which i shall not bother to elaborate on.
Ah, now it's time to talk about The Night I Got My Second Wife... The night of the 25th February was a stifling one, perhaps due to the mass barbecue of shrubs all over the island. It was just another busy evening in the arrival hall at Changi, with the usual hustle and bustle of china-men, ang-mohs, peeleepeenoes, neeegroes, lateenoes and god-knoes surging in and out of the airport. Despite being engulfed by the noises warm welcomes and sad farewells coming from all directions, there seemed to be an eery quiet inside of me, probably due to the void left behind by my da3 lao3 po2... But that void was instantly filled with warmth and joy when i lay my eyes on my concubine for the first time that night. 25th February 2005. My second marriage. Omg do i sound like a promiscuous pervert?
Most of my next two days was thus spent playing with her, as she lay in my arms. Oh, i even met zhengyou at compass point to buy a skin product for her today. So affectonate right? Oh yea, liuzw cancelled my lesson AGAIN. Claimed that her dad was flying off to America and had to see him off. wow.

My first entry of the year! It's the 9th day of 2005 so i thought i shud do some reflecting at this point in time...
After 1 week in school, i guess i'm still suffering from a holiday-hangover. Somehow, going to school just doesnt feel right... It was great though, to see pple like shihong, keyboon, yuxi, joeyoung and all the other 3N peeps after such a long time apart. Oh, and the new classroom is such a huge improvement from the one we were in last yr, except for the sometimes freezing temperatures... Thankfully we're wearin the hcjc uniform now, or i would have become a popsicle. On the other hand, it feels rather awkward to walk around the campus in the new uniform. On tuesday i juz happened to be walking to coro with zhengyou to photocopy scores, and while passing through hcjc, guess who i met? Dear brother + friends (in hcjc uniform)... haha.
Work is starting to pile up, and it's only been 1 week. Schoolwork aside, there are still countless things to worry about for CO. SYF practices aside, there's still the sec 1 orientation which is just round the corner. Hais, i guess i won't be able to go out during the weekends as often as i did last yr...
Still went out ytd with zhengyou though, on the pretext of getting quotations for the CO shirt printing. Got dragged to wheelock by zhengyou afterwards, as he needed to bring his handphone there for servicing. His queue number turned out to be appoximately 100 places behind those being served? =P So ended up wasting some time in borders where i chanced upon the "Best of U2: 1990-2000" album which has 2 cds and a bonus dvd, with a usual price of $38. Much to my surprise, it was selling for $9.95!! I actually brought the album to the info counter nearby juz to check if my eyes were playing tricks on me...
Had my first pipa lesson in ages today. arrived 30 min early, so was watching samuel learn xin fan. samuel ended up watching my entire lesson... Mebbe cos he was afraid of walking back to the mrt station alone? =P (jkjk) Rest of my beautiful sunday was spent at home doing hw (supposedly).

I spent my christmas day rotting at home this year. How wonderful. So i decided to ask jona out for a hot date today at orchard... Walked around, wasted time (esp at the ps yamaha) and trekked the bras basah to visit swee lee. Today at swee lee, i met the girl i'm gonna marry. erm, i mean i found the perfect guitar for me. Now to find a way to afford her it...=P omg, she's it's sooo chio lah! i think i have a big fat crush on her it...
Spent christmas eve with the newly established GG (Gay gang) led by The GF (Gay Fei). Watched Kung Fu Hustle. It's lame. Very. Actually that's why i liked it! =D Stephen Chow is now officially one of my idols, along with Jacky Wu.=P Wasted our time in orchard after that where we all bought santa hats except for the very extra randy cheong, who shud have enuff money to buy 350 of those $2 hats with his earnings from you-know-wat.

Lets see... 17 days since my last entry, not bad even by my standards =) hmm, that should give u guys an idea of how mundane my holiday life is. Btw, thanks again to sam and jx for reminding me to update =P
Been playing pool quite often recently, and i'm afraid i'm starting to get hooked(note: i am under-16). Hmm, besides giving me a guilty conscience for not being a law-abiding citizen(yea rite! heheh), it is also another reason for me to go out and spend $$$. My mum recently asked me to study higher chinese at home as a form of retaliation. So for the past 2 days i have been at home reading deception point ci yu shou ce... =)
Just listened to CO practice recordings from march last yr(when i was still a young, innocent sec 2 kid), and realised how huge the gap in standard is... Lets hope that by march we'll be as good or better. Would make a great birthday gift for me too... Oh, for those who think xing1 kong1 isnt a cool set piece, go listen to shi1 cheng2 ying2 chun1. Yuck. Didnt wanna be reminded of that song, but listened to it anyway.
Yesterday, out of pure boredom, i decided to start a neopets account. =D Haha, mebbe i'm starting my second childhood... Neopets turns out to be much more fun than i initially thought, and i strongly recommend those of u who wanna relive your childhood memories to sign up for an account as well (if you havent already done so). And just to let u guys know, i've got an extremely-cute yellow Kacheek! Those who wanna know wat it's called will have to ask me personally....
On another note, isnt it great to be a chelsea fan? Yet another four-goal victory this weekend... i qoute ESPN soccernet, "Classy Blues Spank Canaries". Aww, those little yellow-and-green birds from Norwich are such poor things aren't they? Heehee...

Woohoo! Taufik won! Watched an entire SG idol show for the very first time last night, and juz realised how disgusting Sylvester Sim is... His "It's My Life" was horrible, and i still dont understand why he has so many female fans when Taufik is obviously more good-looking than he is. And i gotta say, Taufik is smooooth! He's got the moves and something that sylvester would never have: the voice. Oh yeah, he's got 5 brides as well =P. Unfortunately polygamy is illegal in S'pore... Before the results were released, i was fearing that Sylvester Sim might win due to the sheer number of ah-lians that would vote for him. I was thinking what a disgrace he would be if he went for world idol... Much to my relief, most Singaporeans aren't as deaf as i thought they would be, and Taufik was deservingly crowned the first Singapore Idol. =)Oh yeah, i voted twice for Taufik, which is also the first time i voted in the course of SG idol...
Camp was ok... i thought the movie outing was quite a success, although the attendance wasnt exactly great. Now that camp's over, there's a huge load off my back now, but still have a lot of things to think about for the remainder of this hols...

today was fun =) Reached the school at 9+ to play street with wenjie, nicholas, nelson, james, bong, weizhi (who came very very late), and my bro. Played till noon, with no one else coming to use the court...
Finally managed to get some exercise, after a month of eat-sleep-go out. Got a taste of nicholas' trade-mark cannonball, and i think i've developed a phobia of playing against my dear senior cause of that.
Went for pool after lunch without nelson and my bro... 3 of us were under-aged (me, bong, weizhi), but why would the money-faced aunty bother to check? =P Being a noob at pool, i managed to lose to everyone... except weizhi... heheh! Was watching this jumbo-sized guy playing alone, and everytime i glanced at his table, he landed a ball =X I wonder how often he plays... 3 times a day? After pool james went off to weizhi's house, which is on the other side the globe, so off i went home being the good boy that i am.
CO commitments piling up... Somehow its so much tougher to handle CO work because of the sense of responsiblity the comes with everything you do. When i make a mistake in my schoolwork, it only affects me and me alone, but for CO work that is multiplied by a hundred members... Argh, stress.
CO camp is just round the corner... Along with all the excitement that came with holding the first CO camp in these 2 years, I'm starting to feel a little apprehensive towards it. Just can't stop worrying about whether we'll be able to pull this off well. The more i think about it, the more i have to worry about. Like "what if too few seniors come for the movie outing and we end up having empty seats?" or "what if a lot of members decide to pon"... Hopefully i come back from the camp in a good mood, so i'll be able to post an entry about it... =P

Been busy with co camp preparation recently. Lets see, I'm in charge of PT challenge, movie outing, hide-and-seek I and free-and-easy games... Haiz, now solo night is cancelled bcos of tangc's fear that some pple might collapse with a heart attack during the activity. i'm sure hongfei and randy would both breathe a huge sigh of relief now...=P
Speaking of tangc, chsco has been cordially invited to the hcco interaction on the 27th of september (saturday). Unfortunately, our dear teacher-in-charge has chosen to withhold the invitation, so those of you interested in participating would have to go as individuals, and not as chsco. Those of you who wanna go shud oso be prepared to perform an item... mebbe kentucky? =)
Went for the east zone co performance ytd. i was happily waiting for the train to city hall at 5+ when someone called and told me the concert starts at 5pm. (i was previously told that it started at 5.30) So off we went to city hall to meet chris, who happened to be strolling around in city link. Got some much needed exercise before reaching vch at 5.30. shan't elaborate about the rest of the concert, juz that something scary happened to me during the interval...
Went to compass point today with zhiguang to find a suitable shirt to be used for our next co tshirt. Tentatively, the co t-shirt will be a white bossini polo shirt (with some printing of course). Had some I can confidently say that it's of higher quality than our current shirts =P. Be prepared to pay more $$$ though...

Oh well, i havent been doing much for the past week, after all it's the holidays already... the last week in school was erm... slacky? Three cheers to the councillors and teachers who helped organise the EOYA, although we(the sec 3s) didnt really seem to appreciate your efforts... =P
CO is finally beginning to settle into the new schedule. And we must not forget the dedication of our beloved stand-in conductor, chuhe... For those of us who can't help but feel restless during his dazu practices, prehaps you should try to listen... maybe just a bit. What he preaches does make sense u know...(usually) Argh... but i admit that i'm also unable to practice self-control at times, and end up toking to sam or turning around and telling jielun how wonderful his daruan sounds...=P
The SYF 2005 set piece is finally out! It's xing1 kong1, as most of u should already know, which explains my current msn nick if u all noticed... Going to get the scores from karl heng tmr with zhengyou and sam, so exciting! We'll be the first in CHSCO to see the scores and hopefully get a very very brief idea of what it sounds like. =) Ho Joon Wei gave me the money for the scores since sinhwee refused to... Now my wallet feels strangely heavy. I really don't like carrying other pple's money around...
EP3 leaders' meeting this morning was umm... sleep-inducing? 4 hours inside LT3, what do u expect? Something pertinent happened though, ask zhengyou or sinhwee if u wanna find out =)

Finally found some inspiration to change my blog design, now it's much more readable =) Anyway, it's just been a week of slacking already, and my post-exam life seems to have lost its fun and excitement liao... It's been movies or bowling or STAYING AT HOME (playing ps2). Gotta find a new way to spend those looooong afternoons.
Anyway, went out with sam and zhengyou to watch Oujia Board today (Sam's idea), and i have come to a very simple conclusion: I don't like korean horror films. The sound effects, blood and lots of long hair makes it so senselessly freaky. And when you think you have been desensitized by the non-stop gore, you'll get freaked out again. Argh, i hope the "eyes-bulging, hair-all-over, cheeks-totally pale" girl doesnt appear in my dreams tonight... i still have to go to school tomorrow u know
Maybe i should stay up to watch the chelsea-CSKA match at 2-something... then i wouldnt have to risk falling asleep and umm... seeing things?

Haha, finally back after a crazy month. Time to get my life back on track, mugging isn't exactly healthy you know? =P Hmm, the exams went by rather uneventfully, which is good cause i guess i wouldnt have any major upsets (but nothing great either)...
After weeks of textbooks, notes, textbooks, notes, (umm what else? worksheets and past yr papers?) I can finally return to my darling pipa! I can tell that she misses me, havent touched her that often recently (oops, this sounds so suggestive). Hmm, seems like i have too many things planned for my holidays for my own good. Here's a brief overview:

- Learn piano (thanks, Joeyoung!)
- Learn drum set (thanks, Jona!)
- Learn guitar (thanking myself and the online tutorials)
- CO camp planning
- CO camp (yay!)
- CO leadership camp (yeah, looking forward to this too...)

- Try to recall that i have a PS2 at home
- Try to recall how to play street soccer =P
- HAVE FUN!!
Yeah, don't blame me if i left anything out... Finally, i'm starting to see some purpose in life =P CO resumes on friday (for hepan gang), finally get to see all u guys again, after one month hibernating in our study rooms... Hah, MRP Oral Defense tomorrow, but why prepare? Takes away all the excitement of presenting in front of the judges! Good thing i get to wake up late tomorrow, i wouldnt be able to stand the thought of waking up early the day after your exams end. Going bowling after that (i hope), which would mark the start of an eventful holiday (i hope again)...

He2 pan4 performance ytd... Been practicing huobajie like siao to prepare for my solo on friday night and the subsequent morning. I was becoming super nervous when we reached uob plaza when tangc told me that he would have to cut my solo item cause there wasn't enough time... Grr, might as well tell me earlier then i wouldn't have to go through so much psychological stress. Anyway, the performance was quite ok on the whole, no major flops... and weiquian's solo was great! three cheers to him. Ooh, and a big thank u to the snco pple who came to watch us perform! =)
A lot of scandalous stuff happened today, shall not bother to explain =P. I realli dun understand y tangc, who's supposed to be a chinese teacher, can't even seem to pronounce names correctly... Anyway, he was telling us about a song he juz found called "yuan2 xiao1 jie2". Shall wait till zhengyou manages to find it before i pass any judgement. Anyway, tangc said that there's a san1 xian2 part in the song, so me, zhiguang, jiahao and jielun will all try to learn how to play the san1 xian2 =)
Argh... Should be trying to focus on exam revision now, how can i still think about co?

Just ike that, the day has passed. Yet it still feels like i was holding the candle outside the mph moments ago...
Skipped a meal, Got drenched a few times over, but never once did i actually feel the hunger or the cold. When i'm with you all, i can feel the warmth... emanating from inside.
Didnt manage to sleep well last night. Too many thoughts running through my head... Every minute that passes, means that MAF 2004 is further away.
But i will not forget.

Yup. After a month of preparations, MAF is gonna start in 10.5 hours time...
After tomorrow, it's all over. No more CO till the end of the exams, no more meetings, practices, and everything intangible that makes CO so special. Hopefully we'll still keep in touch after it's over, it will really be a huge pity if we were to lose contact juz because the event that brought us together is over...
I'm... confused. I'm looking forward to MAF, yet dreading its end. Come on everyone... lets make this experience something we'll not want to forget for years to come. Lets all jiayou!

Lala... juz changed my blog layout cause i realised that some pple couldn't see my bg pic, and also because i had nothing better to do.
Today must be the luckiest day of my life! I was walked down the terraces during maf trials today and once i stepped onto the side field i felt somthing land on the top of my head. I was wondering for a moment, but to confirm the worrying thoughts that were springing into my head, i brushed my hand through my hair and happened to find something yellowish and sticky... Ended up having to wash my hair over and over again at the tap outside the track room. I should really ask my dad to go buy 4-D...

My film studies sabbatical has just ended today, with two nights (wed and thur) spent in school... I can conclude that joining film studies drastically lowers your metabolism. Thats because from wednesday onwards, besides going to orchard for one afternoon, i've spent most of my time lying in a sleeping bag in a dark, air-conditioned room watching film after film after film, taking frequent naps and snacks in the process... 12 in all =) The only times we got to see daylight is when we leave the room for our meals... What a relaxing holiday, and for that i got 10 ace points for humans! Now a seriously feel like a couch(sleeping bag) potato.
Hmm, Samuel wants me to go and watch a movie tomorrow, how wonderful... Maybe i should bring along my squashy sleeping bag! =P

Yay, film studies rocks... wacthed a few cool movies these 2 days, great way to take my mind of the recent common tests =). Unfortunately, some of us had to leave the lesson halfway to go for an MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) course. We missed The Exorcist because of that!! =( Anyway, i realised that the test is actually quite accurate after my i assessed my results, up to you all to guess what personality type i am though...
Anyway, i noticed something very interesting today. I was walking up the stairs from the canteen when i walked pass one of those indian janitors/workers/wadeva when i saw him fiddling with a shiny new sony-ericsson camera phone!! So for all of you who think that they get shit pay, you should really think again...
Ended up wasting my time at ps with samuel tan, had lunch there even though i had only $5.70 in my wallet at that time and eventually ended up with a huge sum of... $1.80! I juz realised that i really don't like the feeling of being poor...
Oh btw KB if you're reading this, pls dun take wat that asshole to heart, it was partially my fault anyway... sorry...

For the last 2 practices, we've been using last year's syf formation for dazu... Actually it's quite cool leh, now i can hear almost all the sections =), oh yah and sinhwee keeps glancing at me =P. Jielun has started playing daruan oso, and i muz say he looks sooo cute with a daruan. haha, the thing is so much bigger than his body... can only see his face poking out of nowhere.
Went for Ascent yesterday, yujia was soo zai in fei tian, veryvery flashy oso =P. Guo's solo was quite cool, and halfway through it i saw a chunk of wood flying off his big fat drumsticks (not chicken). the encore songs were quite entertaining... Got autographs after the concert, but apparently yujia didnt sign properly when i compared it to an older programme booklet...
After a lot of debating after the concert, i decided to go home with zhiguang, but when i was about to board the train with him, zhengyou and samuel grabbed me from behind and dragged me (with my arms and legs flailing) away from the train... ended up going to ps with them, jiahao and chris seah.

Had co as usual for friday and saturday, jiu ge and xing chun le again... Ahh, y can't we have molihua? It's 10 times better than those 2 songs lor. Zhengyou helped out in the distribution of survey forms and he's quite qiang, stand at the door and shove a copy into the hands of any poor soul who walks in...
Went to orchard to pass the surveys to jx before meeting samuel, jiahao, zhengyou, junzhi, sylvia & tammy at amk. At mac, i went to buy drinks, then when i was walking towards the table with a tray full of medium-and-above-sized drinks when some of the cups started to wobble and oops, Jiahao's vanilla coke was sent flying =P! Quite a lot spilt on my bag oso, now it has a pleasant smell of vanilla coke =)... Didn't really help out in the meeting since i was only supposed to observe... but i suggested my bro's game from 2 yr's ago to junzhi.
Today's Sweeping lesson was very funny also... When she come in she reminded us in a serious tone that we were supposed to go for injections halfway through her lesson (everyone laughs silently)... "ni3 men2 mei2 you3 du2 EMB ma1?" (when only foo and zhangsheng were supposed to get the jab)... so she left the the class halfway through the lesson, thinking that we all went for dreadful injections =D. When she came back, her double-period was almost over, so i decided to be lame *grabs my arm* "cheng2 lao3 shi1, da3 le4 zhen1 guo4 hou4, wo3 de4 shou3 hen3 tong4! wo3 xu1 yao4 qu4 kan4 yi1 sheng1 na2 zhi3 tong4 yao4!" haha... nvm i was being realli lame...
Oh btw... CHELSEA 1 - 0 MAN UTD!! yay! mourinho is off to a good(johnsen) start. When gud scored i was jumping around the living room when my bro was trying to look away from the screen... =D
